Fellow joint winner in this category was Materials in Works of Malaysia, founded by John Ooi. Materials in Works is a pioneering enterprise transforming hard‑to‑recycle industrial waste, such as laminates, into valuable products.

Business Innovation                                        

Co-founded by Rafael Wanderley, Direito Ágil is a Brazilian social enterprise addressing gender‑based violence through its platforms Maria da Penha Virtual and  ElaProtegida. Maria da Penha Virtual lets women file domestic violence protective orders online for faster intervention. ElaProtegida enables companies to manage workplace violence reports on one platform.
