Wijnand is a Partner at Dalberg based in Geneva. He advises international organisations, corporations, governments, foundations and NGOs on strategic planning, organizational transformation and performance management. He has more than fifteen years of experience in strategy consulting serving organizations such as the Green Climate Fund, World Health Organization, World Wide Fund for Nature, the European Commission, and UN Secretariat.
At Dalberg, Wijnand is one of the partners leading the work on environment issues. He supported WWF International with strategy and campaign support on plastics, including publishing a report on global Plastics pollution, a regional report on the specific challenges in the Mediterranean, country scorecards and policy advice and a report on Plastics ingestion. Before that, he supported WWF International with analysis and reports on conservation and development, including Protecting People through Nature, the Social and Economic value of Virunga National Park and Illegal Wildlife Trafficking.
Wijnand also supports organisations such as the Green Climate Fund, the Global Green Growth Institute, the UN Environment Programme and the Climate Development and Knowledge Network with strategic planning, organizational transformation, programme design and evaluation.
Before joining Dalberg, Wijnand worked with KPMG Consulting in the Netherlands. He holds an MSc from Nyenrode University and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
